What you will see

Quoted total and invoiced total, taken from the documents.
Gross variance — the arithmetic difference, and nothing more than that.
How many charge lines matched between the two documents.
How many charges are new or have changed.
How many findings are waiting on evidence.
A potentially disputable amount, separately assessed from the total difference.

Gross variance is not recoverable money

Part of any variance is normally explained by the quotation's own terms — surcharges it allows to move, charges it lists as excluded, or services that were genuinely performed. ChargeBasis separates those out rather than counting them.
