Before you start
What do I need to start?
The quotation you accepted and the final freight invoice. Use PDFs with selectable text, CSV, TXT or email files where possible. Scans may require manual entry. Supporting documents are optional, but missing evidence can limit the conclusions.
Is the difference money I can recover?
No. Some charges are permitted by the quotation or explained by the shipment records. We separate those from charges that need clarification. A flagged charge is not a guaranteed refund.
Do I need an account or a card?
Neither is needed for the free preview. Create an account to save the shipment and open every finding and citation. The free plan includes one full invoice check each calendar month. No card is needed for the free plan.
What happens if the report finds no error?
You still receive the comparison and the evidence supporting the charges. A paid check or subscription costs the same regardless of the findings or any recovery. There is no success fee or commission.
Does Standard include someone negotiating for me?
Standard includes a recovery workspace for preparing correspondence, recording provider replies and tracking credits. You approve and send correspondence yourself. It does not include a promised dedicated negotiator or a guaranteed recovery.
Who sees my documents?
Documents are stored privately and access is restricted to your organization and authorized ChargeBasis reviewers. Anonymous uploads expire after 24 hours. Optional contribution of anonymised charge amounts is off unless you choose it. See our privacy and security pages for details.
